From the House of the Halubje Bell Ringers, the trail winds along centuries-old dry stone walls \u2013 quiet, steadfast witnesses to the life and work of our ancestors.\u00a0 Dry stone walls bordered their plots of land to allow the meagre soil to yield the hardy vegetables at the heart of the Mediterranean hinterland\u2019s traditional diet. We invite you to walk at an easy pace and take in the rustling of treetops and the whisper of stone. Enjoy the birdsong and the chance to encounter some forest animals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The trail, which coincides in places with the bell ringers\u2019 route, also gives you the opportunity to continue along the path towards Kapitovac Pond.
